Nourish your soul with Bread of Life. In a world that feels heavy and uncertain, Jesus offers more than sustenance—he feeds hearts and souls with love, grace, and hope. From wedding feasts to feeding thousands, he gathered people around the table, filling them with good news and abundance.

This Lent, journey through the sacred and the ordinary—like bread, simple yet essential. Bread of Life provides everything you need to equip all ages to break bread together, be nourished in body and spirit, and rise to share God’s generosity with the world.

Bread of Life Liturgy & Commentary includes nearly 100 prayers and litanies to assist with your Lenten worship planning, including Ash Wednesday, the six weeks of Lent, Maundy Thursday, and Easter. We also we include a commentary on the text written by either the Rev. Dr. Jeehei Park, Assistant Professor of New Testament at the Seminary of the Southwest, or Rev. Dr. Dong Hyeon Jeong, Assistant Professor of New Testament at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.

We know how daunting it can be to prepare for all of the Lent, Holy Week, and Easter—one of our goals at Illustrated Ministry is to always make your job easier. We hope these prayers, litanies, and commentary will help assist with your Lenten sermon and worship planning.
