What will I receive?
Devotions: 12 devotions based on specific stories from scripture: 4 water stories, 4 plant and food stories and 4 animal stories. We have paraphrased each of the stories for you to provide a more child-friendly encounter with scripture, and have given you sample questions and a prayer to do together as a family. These devotions are meant to be easy ways to engage with scripture and talk with your children about faith.

Family Activities: Each week, there is a suggested activity included with the devotion. It might be a challenge, something the family can do together, or a prayerful exercise that can be done by both children and adults.
Illustrated Story Cards: We've taken each of the scriptural passages and put the central parts of the stories onto Illustrated Story Cards with words and illustrations. These cards are a great tool to help your children with their biblical literacy, as you can ask them to put the cards in the right order based on the story they just heard. And since there are both pictures of what's happening, and words to describe those pictures, whether you're working with readers or pre-readers, everyone will be able to participate. These are the same story cards included in our curriculum.
Coloring Pages: There is one coloring page for each of the biblical stories that the devotions are based on. Also, the illustrations from our Illustrated Earth Posters are included as 8.5x11 coloring pages.
Illustrated Earth Sign: Finally, we have included an Illustrated Earth Sign that you can print out (preferably on card stock or a thicker paper) and take with you wherever you and your family will be celebrating God’s creation. The sign can be personalized, and we encourage you and your children to have fun with this. Your children will be joining a large online community of folks who have used our An Illustrated Earth curriculum: hundreds of families and churches across the world have used this curriculum.
