At the beginning of each year, we anticipate and celebrate the birth of Christ through Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany. The season after Epiphany is a season of growth as we prepare for Jesus’ death and resurrection through Lent and Easter. We celebrate God’s promise and the gift of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, and the season after Pentecost is another period of growth for the life of the church. We begin the church year again with Advent.
This Liturgical Calendar Coloring Page & Poster (2026–2027) begins on the first Sunday of Advent (November 29, 2026) and ends on Reign of Christ Sunday (November 21, 2027). Each season includes every Sunday within it. The bottom portion of the calendar highlights significant dates within the 2026–2027 liturgical church year. As we embrace this cyclical way of observing time and moving through the seasons with this calendar, we hope you experience sacredness and rhythm.
Use our Liturgical Calendar Coloring Page & Poster as a children’s worship activity, a shared coloring project throughout the church year, or a resource for adult education and confirmation classes.
