The Work of Imagination Children’s Moments is a Lent–Easter worship resource featuring original artwork and a leader’s guide for simple, story-centered moments with children.

Theme Overview

Lent invites us to tell the truth with tenderness—to notice what is broken and to trust that love is still at work among us. The Work of Imagination frames this season as a shared journey of wonder and courage, helping communities confront despair, practice justice, and hold hope with care. Rooted in prophetic imagination, this Lent–Easter series invites even our youngest worshippers to listen closely to the stories of Jesus and to imagine how love shows up in the world.

Designed for use during worship, these Children’s Moments offer creative, accessible ways to engage children in the Lenten journey—honoring their questions, inviting their curiosity, and reminding the whole congregation that imagination is essential to faithful love.
