The Work of Imagination Children’s Mini Curriculum is a flexible Lent–Easter resource for children’s ministry, adaptable to traditional Sunday school, one-room classrooms, or intergenerational settings.
Theme Overview
Lent invites us to slow down, ask honest questions, and notice where love and justice are needed in the world. The Work of Imagination helps children explore this season as a sacred journey—learning to wonder, listen, and imagine alongside Jesus as he moves through wilderness, shared meals, and courageous love.
Rooted in prophetic imagination, this Lent–Easter series encourages children to see themselves as part of God’s unfolding story of mercy and hope. Through story, play, and creativity, children practice imagining a world made whole and discover that faith is something we live out together through compassion, courage, and care.
