An Illustrated Christmas Story Set
Note: This is a digital product. No physical product will be shipped to you.
An Illustrated Christmas Story Set is a fun and meaningful activity for families to do at home leading up to Christmas and through Epiphany.
Advent and Christmas are when we prepare ourselves for the arrival of baby Jesus and celebrate his birth. An Illustrated Christmas Story Set is convenient to add to your other Advent/Christmas/Epiphany plans or use as an easy stand-alone craft.
Select from the Matthew 1–2 or Luke 1–2 gospel passages to help retell the story of Jesus’ birth. We provided a variety of options to help you tell the story: three different backgrounds—a traditional stable, a grotto, and a first-century home—to fit a variety of understandings of the setting for Jesus’ birth, two Marys and two Josephs, with one set providing the option for either parent to be holding their baby, two mangers to fit the background of your choice, a toddler Jesus to meet the Magi when they arrive, and several other characters and animals.
How can I use it?
Include it in your church's Advent plans, any Advent materials you send home with families, or use it as a stand-alone craft at an Advent Festival. Simply print, cut, color, create, and have fun celebrating the story of Jesus' birth.
Children of all ages will have fun coloring and creating these characters and will want to keep playing with them.
We think you and your families are going to love this beautiful papercraft.
