Starting with Ash Wednesday, An Illustrated Lent for Families: Reflections on Fasting includes weekly devotionals, activity pages, and coloring pages for families to use together as they journey through Lent.
As you journey through this season of Lent together, families are invited to focus intentionally on the spiritual discipline of fasting. By exploring Gospel passages about fasting, families will reflect on why we fast and how we can choose to fast from many different things than just food. Each week explores a different form of fasting and the impact it can have on how we see ourselves, God, and the world.
This is also a fantastic resource for churches to buy as a resource to give to their families or to use in an all-ages small group/Bible study setting.
